Happy Sunday TSJ! I hope today’s been full of relaxation and happiness.
Was I the only one who thought this last week dragged on forever?! I swear, it felt like I aged about 300 years. Maybe it was just the panic of make-up school work and Spring Show preparations but when it came to the weekend, there was no other outfit I wanted to just slip into than this one. Being such a restless person, I naturally lined up a billion things for me to do in the two days I have to rest. How ironic!
I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, apologize for how many times these jeans have been featured so far. I promise more pairs of pants than just these distressed treasures, they’re just so dang comfortable and go with literally everything. These ripped numbers plus my go-to striped linen shirt are what consist of my “weekend outfit”. I also absolutely adore my new jeweled sandals from TarJei (my poor attempt at a more sophisticated euphemism for Target)! I’m already obsessed…
As for my jewelry, you’ll notice I wear the same bracelet in every single post. My best friend and I went ‘total throwback move’ and got more fashion-y but still cheesy versions of the friendship bracelet. The lotus flower is supposed to represent energy and compassion and the nurturing of relationships which I felt would go along well with the whole “friendship token” vibe. Other than that, simple and understated is always the theme of my weekend outfits. I just threw on my Kendra Scott necklace, a watch, and some diamond studs to accessorize without overpowering. Basically trying super hard to look like I totally didn’t try AT all.
I think the greatest part of this outfit is that I can transition it into any type of look I want. My weekends normally consist of a mix between errands and girl/family time, and my weekend uniform perfectly suits all of those occasions.
